Antibes

Performance and installation of "Antibes" for "Double Trouble" at Root Canal and The Gemma, Amsterdam. With Yong Xiang Li and Simon Mielke.

A pair of identical twins perform a text about time and scale; a few hours later at a second location, the twins re-perform the same text, but switch roles and clothing. Nothing has visibly changed. After the performance, the presence of the twins is replaced by two puppets holding placards displaying the text; but the text is divided between each puppet not according to the speaker, but at the mid-point between dialogue and monologue.
